Claims Handling Philosophy
A claims handling philosophy is only successful if it is actually practiced. At Charlotte Adjusting our philosophy drives our daily handling of cases. We believe cases are best handled by:
- Proactive claims handling
- A timely and thorough investigation of the claim
- Evaluation of coverage issues as soon as possible
- Exploration of whether early settlement is possible or advisable
- Establishment of accurate reserves
- Constant review of reserves as the case progresses
- Personal involvement through mediations and direct contact with Plaintiff’s counsel, even in claims involved in litigation
- Close supervision and management of defense counsel
- Professional conduct and courtesy in all dealings
